First Week of college.
Week 0 was amazing, I met nice people, mostly my hall mates and people from nearby halls. I had to admit though it was pretty scary for the first time by myself in a place full of strangers. I didn't know what to do, or when to do them I just went along with my instincts I suppose. By the end of week 0, I've already gotten an essay with 2 rough drafts, 3 online chem lesson quizes, and math practice numbers due tuesday 9/28. I have finished chem, didn't start on the math, and is 50% done with the essay. It's Sunday and tomorrow I have class.... FML!

More fishes in the sea,
I should've just laid there in bed,
I shouldn't have gotten up,
Between breathing that conscious sea air and the moment I realized I did not remember how I fell asleep,
Everything was pretty much agony in disguise; rocking boat,
Its been half a fathom,
I should've been stronger, wiser, and more experienced before tackling something like this; Regrets,
So many ships to choose from,
and my heart sails towards a inverted siren,
leaving nothing but reoccurring memories that are daunting,
I shouldn't have listened.
Then again,
If I tell myself to hold on...
3 days until I move to UCI and be one my own for the very first time, my roommate is going to be gone until Monday. I have everything planned out in my head. I need to not straighten things out but to go into an athletic position, because this very moment @ 5:57pm 9/16/2010 I'm in utter mess.
My plans for move-in:
1. Set up everything; settle down
2. Memorize my class location through visually
3. Enjoy myself
4. To stop thinking about people and care only for myself... I've done that for far too long now and its like a struggling business, the price of myself costs more then the sentimental and material values in return... I'm gaining very little to nothing in net.

Adventure!
9/13
Today I went on a hike with Sidney Vu! just the two of us; weird. Anyways I started biking to her house at around 1:30pm got there and I stored my bike in her garage and dropped of Kelly's bag that she left in Henry's car on the night of the BJ's dinner. We then went to hike a part of the Elysian park. Explored a path that was new to us, but that just ended in the same place we hiked, kind of. We hiked from the bottom to the top where we went to a little playground that happened to be, at the time, occupied by a couple of dudes smoking weed. We left ASAP. Sidney wanted to swing and poof! there was swings a few yards from those weed smokers and it was shady! We sat and swung for a while. I wanted to share the Skittles she got me, but noooo she insisted that it was only for me, that girl...haha. We then encounter this pipe looking thing to only find out that it was a rubber tube that wiggled like a worm when we see-saw'd on it. Most awkward playground ride ever. We then heard gun shots and what sounded like, to me, a cannon or a grenade going off. pretty scared we started wandering around to a closed baseball field and down this winding road. As we walked further down, more gun shots and boom sounds where heard. It turns out we hiked all the way on top of the police academy and I guess they were having practice. Holy long walk down and up the Elysian park... we ended up outside the Dodger Stadium parking gates on the other side of the Solano Elementary school. Good thing we weren't lost! At one point I gave Sidney a piggy back ride, but when she clutched on my neck, it was more of a strangle and yeah, I died ahah! I think I only got her maybe 2 yards before I started choking for air. Anyways we walked all the way to Solano Elem. where Sidney picked up her neighbor who was a little girl who, by the way, had nice fashion sense; a nice shade of purple plaid shirt. We walked to Sidney's house and ended up biking around China town to a Hill st. Cafe! They make some good thai tea with good portion to price ratio. I ordered a Thai tea boba for me and Sidney got a Lemon ice tea with sugar that turned out tasting like ice cold blended gummy bears or starbursts. I recommend if you happen to have a sweet tooth and you happen to be around that area. Sadly sidney couldn't finish the tea so I had to be the person to finish it :P. Dad calls, its been 4 hours since I went "biking" so it was best that I go home before shit happens. When I got to the bottom of Sidney's little alley, she insisted that I go home instead of walking her up, so I trusted her and did just that. Except for this one moment where she told me "I only brought $15" and tried to sneak a 5 or a 10 into my pocket/wallet/bag. I insisted that it was my treat! After that, one last hug from her and I was off. Felt pretty good after. Felt so good I even sang and hummed the whole way to my house ahaha! Got home and was tired and aching as hell!
I hope she had as much or more fun than I did, or else I'm one bad friend =/
(yeah, I wish I can write in vivid details and make it sound like today could be turned into a short story, but I suck at english... mediocre english at college yeeyah!)

Pure Imagination
"And if you want to view paradise simply look around and view it..."
Today (9/1) was a pretty irregular day for me. "Why?" you ask? Well because I spent a good portion of my day with Sidney, Jackie, and Lauren. I drove them to Americana/Glendale Galleria where we went to go see what we could pick out for out Friday night dinner at BJ's. At first, it was pretty awkward. I didn't like Forever 21 to begin with and to walk around with Sidney didn't help. I just felt awkward, and I'm sorry for that. So I stroll over to H&M where, finally, I find clothes that I actually like to wear (mostly button downs and jeans). I was really happy to see that they have a whole selection of 3 colors to choose from for my button down shirt for $9.95. "Grey, Black, or White?" I said to myself. I finally went with the black since I don't have a black button down, I have a Navy Blue and a Grey one. I also thing white would be a little too much on me so after all that went through my head in the matters of milliseconds I picked out my sizes of Large or X-large. I went into the lovely fitting room where I was escorted by a lovely young lady. My size turned out better in Large, go figure. Ceejay did suggest medium, but my love handles would be hanging out and saying "Hello" to the world, and no one wants to see that, let alone hear it. I made my purchase with a gift debit card and went on to see what I could do. Jackie and Sidney were still in the Forever 21, probably trying some clothes on I Figured, so I went to Barnes & Nobles to waste or time after walking around the Americana once. First I went to the bathroom, it was quiet scary because I was the only guy at the bathroom and yeah... solo in the public bathroom? I don't think so. I then came upon a book. "Sh*t my dad says". Let me tell you, those were some of the funniest things I've read in a while. It's ridiculous.
Fast forwarding, I went to Pearl City burger cafe next to the Cheese Cake factory and it looks like they're done shopping because Sidney called to say "where are you?". Lauren then got hungry leading to the In n' Out, where jackie made her video for the day of "what I ate today". You can go check it out on her tumblr. After finishing we made a quick stop at the Old Navy and the Charlotte Russel. Ended up getting home at around 5:31pm where it was on the brink of being unbustable for the moment. Yes, I say for the moment because I have yet to tell my parents about the shirt hehe. oops. So yeah, pretty fun day overall. I got to spend time with the friends (yeah, I know). Got to drive outside my dad's comfort zone and almost guilt free. By guilt free, I mean the shirt I got, my money is dying here!
p.s. All of this mall stuff was happening when I told my parents "I'm going to the China Town library ;D"
