Today I'm going to try using blogger for my day's work. I went to the California Academy of Sciences at Golden Gate Park and I love that place, The first pic was the outside of the place and I didn't want to show you anymore because everything else looks like it's still under construction, a downer. The place featured a planetarium, Eco-friendly building and energy usage, a spherical rain-forest habitat with getting the humidity level to the most accurate. I had a bit of a hard time breathing and sweated a lot since it was hot and humid. The Academy also had endangered species exhibit, extreme animals exhibit, and an underground aquarium and tide-pool petting area where you could pet star fishes, and not so prickly urchins. I like the Aquarium part so I'm going to highlight it up there. The little boy was there and it seemed like a very good picture (: the second part of my trip today was to the de Young art museum across the field of constructions which was pretty good for an art museum, but again, my mom and sis was there so the experience was crippled critically. I like the contemporary art, but I especially liked this Indonesia wood carving of a room divider; it was too intricate. Last but not least, I went to the gift shops of both museums. The two turtles hugging up there caught my attention, it was fluffy and o so adorable. In the art gallery gift shop there was this stainless steel tea leaves strainer which was really cool. I can't wait to comeback down there in Los Angeles, I'll be back this weekend. Toodaloo!
