So my weekend started Friday ahaha. It was pretty chill throughout the whole day and it was the same old, same old. When I came back home from school, it was about 6:15ish so I thought to myself "I need to get ready". Called Q, he was busy and I waited for him to call back. Dressed up and went out. Quyen "kenny" Khai voung is a very good driver may I add (: Picking up Leega, Ellen, and Ms. Birthday Girl Anne Yu. We went to this BCD Tofu House, I really didn't know what to expect >_<" Amy, Sidney, and William got us seats already since they were there first and we got seated and started looking at the menu. The Food sounded awesome actually. By Ms. Nam's expertise I ordered the seafood tofu soup which had shrimp, clams, and oysters. I just happened to order in very spicy so I was tearing up everytime I took a bite. The weird part was it was only spicy in the first bite, it mellows out after you chew <_<. Everyone ordered either mild or non-spice. I'm kind of tired due to my lack of sleep the night before so I'll have to say it was fun sitting next to amy nam, the whole night was a blast. I love tofu. Happy Birthday Anne Yu.
Irvine! 35min drive. Arrived at 9am. I walked by myself for a little bit into an empty social science structure and I feel in love with the peaceful serenity of the cascading waterfall and the feel of no one, isolation. Then that train of thought crashed with the sound of my parents. Looked around with parents and sister for a while then got a call from Anne, Ellen, Q, and William and I decided to go meet up with them and take tours with them. It was a pretty enjoyable experience despite the fact that Q and I were half dead and tired. Went on the tram ride, our bus was dead in spirit because we had, what looks like, up-tight parents and shy students. I think Q and I were the loudest in the bus >_<" and we were quiet for most for a good chunk of the bus ride. We then head off to see the dorms, or "residence halls" as they call it, but nether the less dorms. We saw middle earth first and it was pretty condensed? It wasn't spread apart like mesa. But they did have grills and 2 food court options. Mesa court on the other hand, I think everyone fell a little content when they compared the two that Mesa Court has the more Suburban feel. It didn't feel like dorms after a while or maybe that's because our tour guide was cool. I actually don't mind the extra distance if it means a better feel and a better over quality of living. The exercise is needed anyways to avoid the "freshmen 75" as the guide told us >_< We then, for the last part of the day went to see the bookstore where I bought a UCI t-shirt where I'll be wearing hopefully in a short time. I hope for the best.
end transmission.
