an epiphany paraphrase

out of all the stars in the universe,
out of all the infinite amount of space,
out of all the solar systems,
out of all the planets,
among all the thousands of beings known and unknown,
among all the trillions of lives existing,
why did you have to come into mine?

tucked safely within a deck,
at least then,
I know you're there and when it's my turn,
I wish I drew you out.
I wish I got to know you,
get the winning feeling as you,
to know you before you get shuffled back into hiding,
with all your courts and constants,
it suites you just fine.
