It was actually fun!
It was interesting at first when Raphael, Abigail, and I help this lady setup her vintage booth where the lady was kindly enough to let us pick an item of clothing if we like it, we can have it. Abigail got a nice plaid short skirt and a "across the universe" vintage t-shirt. I had my eye on a 6.0 purple/teal low dunks with a clear sole, but it was too nice, I didn't want to take it :]. After that Ceejay, Ryan and Amy came. Ceejay and Ryan started like 4 hours before their actual shift started and did whatever. It was kinda fun. I got me a "TofuRobot" pin (above but in pin form), and ceejay, ryan, and I went to explore the actual little tokyo so that the two love birds could buy something for their beloved and ryan promised to try to buy something for his beloved before he spent money on food [ain't that nice of him]. Amy went to yogurt land and introduced ryan and I to it.. that place is da shit! I got mango frozen yogurt with gummy bears and mochi's.... new favorite dessert. Yogurtland > Pinkberry :D.
theres too much to talk about that I dont really want to type out so here's the highlights:
-free nice teal volunteer t-shirts
-nice people and free food and refreshments
-delicious subway and homemade spam-rolls
-fun time at the gated entrances playing eye-spy and 20 questions
-Tofu robot pin
-exploring little tokyo and little tokyo mall
-seeing Ryan N., Martin C, and Chris Hood.
-eating Frozen mochi for the first time.. DELICIOUS!!
-had a fun talk with Ceejay, Ryan, and Amy [it was kinda like the talk with jackie, wang, albert, ceejay, and I] it was interesting.
-saw cos-players, I think I saw only 2 good ones, both naruto characters.
-saw some traditional japanese acts
-saw some hilarious spelling fails
